FaçadeCampos Coffee is a renowned Australian Coffee brand. This newest edition to their growing Cafe locations is positioned underneath the Heritage listed viaducts of Sydney's iconic Wentworth Park in Glebe.Constructed between 1892-1922, these viaducts are significant examples of large scale major engineering works within brick and arch bridge fabrication. The viaducts span across both Jubilee Park and Wentworth Park and recently also service a section of Sydney's Light Rail. This project required creating a brand re-invention and design concept fit-out within the space of one viaduct. The end result features a mix of textured, natural elements and comfortable furnishings amongst plant life, allowing for a relaxed yet refined design. With an open facade, customers can sit down and relax within the numerous, spacious lounges in the sunroom. Etched concrete floors flow seamlessly inside from the outdoors with glass bi-folding doors separating the spaces. Striking green marble contrasts with warm toned timber on the front counter which echoes the store signage and re-designed Campos logo. Indoors, customers have a choice between sinking into the lounges, swaying in the hanging chairs or stretching out on a hammock underneath the creeping ivy veiled ceiling.
